Sing Praise to the lord!
And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

We receive Gods blessings everyday. Even in our darkest hours, HE is with us and ready to help us as soon as we ask. I can't imagine for even a moment, God having a look of surprise on his face and responding, "WOW you what? I didn't see that coming". When my children were small, I remember the times when one would keep trying, I would offer to help, but the head-strong child would turn away determined to do it their self. Only when they were completely exasperated, did they hand it over for help. Even as adults, we tend to believe that we can do it by ourselves and don't require any assistance. Only when we "Let Go and Let GOD" take care of the issue, do we find resolution/closure. By chronologizing the blessings in my life, perhaps others might see GOD working in their own lives.

Today I had the most interesting experience. I'm on just one chat service. this is a young Christian fellowship chat. One of the young members was having an issue (details omitted) that weighed heavily upon their heart. I could feel the pain and I had no idea where to go from there. I'm not a man of God, just a man for God. Just when it looked like there was nothing I could do to help, I asked if they wanted to pray. It goes without saying, there is power in prayer. My simple act of praying, seemed to help them feel better. The outcome might never be known, but this small act, I consider to one of the greatest blessings ever bestowed upon myself. It is my great desire to help other people for the Kingdom of God, perhaps I am one small step closer.

Though I can't say that I've experienced anything extra ordinary recently, I can say my prayer life is quite full. I need to read more, but I've read more than normal. I'm behind my proverbs and way behind in my route66 reading, but my prayer is up. Though there are many things I'm going through at this time, I know that everything will be alright in the long run. I just have to remember, God is in charge, not me.
